Claims against the estate of Robert Irsay now top $50 million.
The Indianapolis Colts have the largest claim, at $28.5 million. according to court documents filed in Hamilton County.
Chicago's LaSalle National Bank last week filed a claim for about $17.2 million, the secured amount on loans to Irsay's various businesses over the years.
From mortgages on homes and commercial properties worth millions to a line of credit for the Colts, Irsay was a big customer of LaSalle, his hometown bank. But the bank will only be able to recover a portion of the total outstanding loans.
There's a disputed claim by Irsay's second wife, Nancy, for the Sweet Charity horse farm in Carmel that is valued at about $6 million, as well as oher claims for their $2.5 million home in Carmel and $750,000 in cash.
That should be the end of the claims, said Jack Hittle, the attorney for the five trustees of Bob Irsay's trust who also serve as executors of his estate.
