A Rochester law firm has targeted Eastman Kodak Co. in a class-action lawsuit claiming the photo giant improperly denied overtime to workers.
The Kodak suit was filed by Dolin, Thomas & Solomon LLP on Feb. 10 in U.S. District Court in Rochester.
The court complaint alleges Kodak failed to pay lead plaintiff Alfonse Frank the overtime due him. Frank was a temporary worker employed by Kodak for some 13 months in the company's technical management organization, where he routinely worked more than 40 hours a week, court papers state.
According to the class-action complaint, Frank and an unidentified number of others "similarly situated" are classified as non-exempt employees...
