MILPITAS,CALIF. - International Microcircuits Inc. (IMI), best known here as a developer of specialty clocks, has entered the bus interface logic market with a 20-member family of devices intended as a higherperformance second source to parts from the alliance that includes Hitachi Semiconductor (America) Inc., Integrated Device Technology Inc. (IDT), Philips Electronics and Texas Instruments.
The IMI logic line includes AVC (advanced very low-voltage CMOS), LVCMOS (low-voltage CMOS), ALVC (advanced low-voltage CMOS), ALVCH (advanced low-voltage CMOS with bus hold) and SSTL (stub series terminated logic) (SSTL) devices.
