Visualizer tool gives form to business intelligence
IN WHAT MAY be the answer to an as-yet-unasked question in the enterprise business intelligence market, Cognos has introduced Cognos Visualizer, a visual reporting and analysis tool that works in conjunction with the company's PowerPlay and Impromptu software.
"We've found that people are typically able to pick up things visually that would have been lost in a page full of numbers," said Don Campbell, director of visualization products at Cognos.
