After more than 25 years in Charlotte, auto interior supplier Collins & Aikman Corp. is phasing out its Queen City presence altogether.
The company, which moved its corporate headquarters to Troy, Mich., three years ago, currently employs fewer than 100 people in various corporate service capacities, working out of 33,000 square feet at 10101 Claude Freeman Drive in University Research Park.

The local jobs involve people with responsibilities in corporate finance, information technology, support and data center functions.
