Comcast launches Xfinity on Campus program at 36 more schools, adds cloud DVR to service

Comcast has announced a major expansion of its Xfinity on Campus IPTV service, launching the platform on 36 additional campuses this fall.

With the additions, the service - aimed at getting young consumers into the cable ecosystem - is now available on 63 college campuses nationwide.

The additional campuses include Northeastern University, Notre Dame, Temple, Michigan, University of Pennsylvania, Southern Mississippi, Villanova and California State University, Fresno.
