Comfort Systems USA acquires major design-build service firm

HOUSTON -- Comfort Systems USA, Inc., a provider of commercial-industrial hvac services, announced that it has acquired Shambaugh & Son, Inc., Ft. Wayne, Ind., a major industrial design-build hvac service organization.

With the addition of Shambaugh & Son, Comfort Systems USA's annualized revenues are now approximately $1.1 billion, making it the largest hvac services company in the United States.

Shambaugh, with annualized revenues of $180 million, has seven operating locations in the Midwest and performs work throughout the U.S.
