Compaq's new Aero 1530 slims down the Windows CE device to the size of a Palm.
Compaq announced Monday the Aero 1530, touting it as the thinnest palm-size PC running the Windows CE operating system. Available now for $299, the 1530 has a docking cradle, AC adapter, two styluses, an auto adapter, and a travel synchronization cable.
The handheld PC is half an inch thick, has a 16 gray-scale display, and has a rechargeable battery that runs for 14 hours.
Also released is the high-end Aero 2180 color palm-size PC. It's priced at $449, a lower entry point than the Aero 2150, which starts at $549. With 24MB of memory, the 2180 has a docking...
