The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA), a leader in information technology certification programs, is conducting a short-term review of its Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA) exam. The review is to ensure that the exam questions are current with industry standards and professional demands. The CompTIA CDIA exam is a mastery-level, vendor-neutral certification for document imaging professionals. According to Document Imaging Section Chairman Pamela Doyle, business development manager Fujitsu Computer Products of America, Inc., the document imaging industry has experienced a steady 15 percent growth rate each year. The CDIA Committee has also established a Test Development task force which will focus on issues related to enhancing the relevancy and currency of the exam. Through its certification programs, CompTIA is committed to increasing the number of qualified workers in the industry. In addition to the CDIA Certification program, CompTIA also offers A+^sup TM^ Certification as a comprehensive entry-level benchmark for service technicians, and is developing Network+^sup TM^ Certification for networking professionals.
