In approaching pharmacy and health and beauty aids in its latest generation of stores, Meijer sought advice from many quarters and took a fresh look at the department in one of its test stores.
Terry Griffith, divisional vp of merchandising, outlined how Meijer was updating its pharmacy and HBA strategy 18 months ago as the company prepared its Rockford, Mich., prototype.
