BOULDER - As quick as the click of a mouse, the proliferating electronic commerce industry can find an army of hightech lawyers right in Boulder and Denver to guide its capital ventures projects and strategic Web-site alliances.
The nationally known law firm of Cooley Godward LLP, with offices in Boulder and Denver, has 61 lawyers to handle the legal needs of more than 100 clients in Colorado. Also, the Boulder office, which has 55 lawyers, is expanding and moving to new quarters at Interlocken business park in early January. The Denver offices are downtown at the Tabor Center.
Founded in 1920 by Arthur Cooley and Louis Crowley in San Francisco, the firm grew to 530 lawyers in eight offices nationwide. With the growing representation of high-tech clients, the firm moved into Silicon Valley and Cooley's second office was established in Palo Alto, Calif.
