He may have made it from Boise, Idaho, to the big city as a contestant on the first season of NBC's "The Apprentice," but Troy McClain's still country to the core.
After receiving the patented "You're fired!" from Donald Trump, McClain wasn't deterred - he stepped right back into the fast lane. Currently hosting his own cable television show, "HomeTeam," McClain also makes public speaking appearances and serves as an advisor to Comfortshoeshop.com. But he has yet to completely trade his treasured cowboy hat, jeans and Western boots for a suit and wingtips. "I am a boot man," McClain said. But even a country boy like McClain can get swept up in his newfound celebrity. "I was told Ryan Seacrest wears [Taryn Rose] all the time, so I broke down and bought a pair for around $400," McClain admitted. "I love them, even if they're not cowboy boots. I guess I'm going a little Hollywood."
