Abstract
Credit Suisse has begun rolling out its "One Bank" centralization program to its market data operations, including the consolidation of supporting functions and staff, as well as building a three-year plan for managing market data across the firm's investment banking, asset management and private banking operations. Gerald Le Donne, former chief technology officer and chief architect of the One Bank program, who became global head of market data strategy, solutions and operations in January, says the bank has already laid out initial plans for consolidating data functions across the three business areas, and has begun executing on some of these, and is now formulating a three-year strategic vision for its market data group.
