Security Service Federal Credit Union, which has three branches and 15,087 members in Pueblo, is now offering banking online.
The new service, called CompuBranch, puts SSFCU in a small group of banks offering Internet access to individual bank accounts from personal computers. The service allows SSFCU members to transfer funds, look at their 45-day statement, make credit card and loan payments, order checks, set up automatic transfers, open CD accounts, and other banking functions. The technology was developed jointly with IBM.
Bank information on the Web is common as approximately 1,200 banks have a Web presence, said Warren Heller of VERIBANC Inc., a bank rating service. But...
