After a 15-month run, the owners of the popular Warehouse District restaurant Crimson have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as they search for a buyer.
The midscale restaurant which attracted downtown patrons for lunch and dinner, closed at the beginning of the month. Crimson Austin Restaurant LPs assets and debts aren't calculated yet but are less than $300,000 each, says Patricia Tomasco, an attorney at Brown McCarroll LLP who was hired to handle the bankruptcy.
