Until recently, short hair has had a bad rap. Somewhere between the 1950s flip out and the Gisèle Bündchen beach waves, someone decided that short hair was for the over 40 set only. Luckily, a few forward thinking stylists have taken their scissors in hand and crafted some of the most coveted crops in Hollywood, proving that short hair is having its moment in the style spotlight. Justin German, consulting stylist for Pantene, breaks down the looks of three actresses who are rocking the crop.
ANNE HATHAWAY'S GLAMOROUS PIXIE
Many women worry that by lopping off their locks they're committing themselves to one look forever, but this isn't so, says German. "Anne Hathaway's hair is still long enough that she could wear it up off her face, or wear it down and a little flatter," says German.
