Crown Castle Inks Deal To Lease Modeo Spectrum

Abstract

The lease agreement would appear to distance Crown Castle from the Modeo service, as its terms transfer to the Telcom/Columbia venture the Crown Castle subsidiary holding assets related to the trial network in New York, while Crown Castle will be the preferred provider of tower infrastructure for future tower sites as the venture deploys services using the leased spectrum.
