Looking to satisfy the needs of its growing student population, Monroe College recently opened its new $2 million Culinary Arts Center on Main Street in New Rochelle after just four months of construction.
"We've got tremendous demand internationally, as well as locally," said Luke Schultheis, dean of the School of Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts. "The enrollment numbers have grown considerably. Now we can handle up to about 4,000 students each year in the culinary labs....
