Tempe, Ariz. -- Cyma Systems probably has more variety in the accounting software lines than any other accounting software company in the country.
The company markets four lines of accounting software along with some strong verticals in medical and dental practice management software.
Clients "can start with us and move forward with us," said president Mike Glaser, describing the rationale for the multiple entries: General Business Series, General Business Series II, the Professional Accounting Series Plus and Cyma for Windows.
Giving clients a migration path is certainly a major issue in accounting software. Bill Goodhew, president of Peachtree Software, recently noted his company, which is a strong player in the low-end market, is introducing a high-end package because when users grow, Peachtree has not been able to offer them more robust software.
