D&B Supply will open in mid-September at 6650 Glenwood St.--thus providing an answer to the long-asked question as to what business will occupy the vacant 36.000-square-foot former Ernst Home & Nursery store in the Plantation Shopping Center.
Lloyd's Country Store, nearby at 5443 Glenwood, also is involved in D&B's plan.
The Ernst chain closed its stores last year. Boise-based movie theater chain Reel Theatres was among the enterprises which considered occupying the building on Glenwood near State Street in Garden City.
Reel Theaters, with venues at Country Club Plaza on Overland Road in Boise and at Karcher Mall in Nampa, has expanded in Utah this year and has eyed sites in Boise.
