ROSS TOWNSHIP - Woodhawk Apartments, one of the better-known apartment complexes in the North Hills, has changed hands.
Deaktor Development, a property investment company based in Ross Township, has acquired the 436-unit, 26-building complex from the California Public Employees Retirement System. The purchase price was $28.4 million.
"It's a good investment for us," Scott Deaktor, a Deaktor principal said. "We own a lot of properties in the Shadyside, Mount Lebanon and Bloomfield areas. This was a great opportunity."
