Decker Building Company is a single-family home builder specializing in subdivision lot and scattered site construction. The company's team consists of Bill Decker, Jr. and Jon Jones, who work in sales and development; Brad Greeley, the superintendent and building director; and Jeanie Maltos, the office controller and accountant. The company was founded in June of 1994 and is actually three companies in one - a building company, a land development component, and a rental property corporation.
Bill Decker, Sr. started his own building company and hired his son, Bill Decker, Jr., as superintendent about a year after he graduated from high school. Decker, Jr. has learned his trade hands-on and now has 20 years of experience in the building industry. They also recently completed the 45 lot subdivision of Waterford at Dean and Secor Roads, and they are currently extending this subdivision. Lots should be available for building by mid-August.
Decker Building Company averages close to 50 units per year, and it takes 4 to 6 months to complete each unit.
