TATE BRITAIN (LONDONS W1)
THE VORTICISTS: MANIFESTO FORAMODERNWORLD
Until 4 September 2011
This summer Tate Britain celebrates the London-based Vorticist artists, whose machine-age multimedia imagery so upset the Edwardians. Based in part on their only previous show in London (in 1915) it has been a long time coming but with more than 100 seminal works on display the exhibition is setto be a thrilling rediscovery of modernist British art.
