Excitement is building as the first state employees get situated in their new home in the state office building in Clarksburg.
The Department of Health and Human Resources occupies multiple spaces in the four-floor facility at 153 W. Main Street that eventually will house six state offices.
"This additional space will allow us to merge files into one location, and there will be more organization," said DHHR community service manager Tina Helmick. "It is a much nicer work space and has raised the morale of the workers."
The DHHR opened to the public at the new location Monday, Aug. 15. The Division of Motor Vehicles Regional Office is set to open Aug. 29.
