NexPrise, Inc., a Santa Clara, Calif.-based provider of B2B "e-coordination" platforms for development, sourcing, and delivery of products, has announced that it has signed a letter of intent with Internet marketplace SupplierMarket.com (Burlington, Mass.) to jointly create a comprehensive ("one-stop solution") e-business exchange. The companies intend to "seamlessly integrate" their offerings, including NexPrise's ipTeam and the Supplier Market.com online marketplace.
Industry to Industry, Inc. (i2i), a New York-based business-to-business e-marketplace, has launched i2i Retail (www.i2iretail.com) in partnership with the National Retail Federation (NRF) (www.nrf.com). i2i Retail is said to offer companies a "dynamic new way to buy, sell, and liquidate merchandise across borders, in real time."
Rockwell Automation, of Greenville, S.C., is launching a new B2B ecommerce site at www.PTplace.com (scheduled for April). Intended to serve as a "one-stop shop," the site will allow authorized Rockwell Automation customers, distributors, and OEMs to access Dodge and Reliance Electric brand power transmission and drive control products directly through the Internet.
