Edward Jones has put a mutual fund center on its Web site (www.edwardjones.com) where investors can gain access to information on the brokerage firm's list of preferred mutual funds, which include offerings from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, American Funds and Putnam Investments. The new section, called mutual fund information, allows investors access to net asset values, portfolio holdings, performance and some in-depth research straight from the brokerage rather than going to the fund firm itself, said Bill Broderick, general partner. The information on the funds has been filtered through Edward Jones so investors can access only the information they need, he said.
