As reported January 31 on architecturalrecord.com, architects Peter Eisenman, FAIA, and Bernard Tschumi, AIA, withdrew from a competition for an addition to the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh [FEBRUARY 2001, page 32] after learning that the other three competitors were given more time and money to respond to questions. Seddon Bennington, director of the Carnegie Science Center, apologized for the situation.
