Inside eating out
Quite frankly the whole thing started out as a sick joke.With a name like "Discreto Encanto" I was sure the place would be equally as pretentious, with plenty of other details at which to poke fun. But the food left me with no appetite to criticize.
Boasting a tight repertoire of classic French cuisine, the restaurant's style actually fills out its content quite nicely. The importance the French place on having wine accompany every meal is well represented with an extensive wine list (the best from Spain, Chile and, of course, France) whose selections range from $265 pesos a bottle on the low end, up to $1000 for the high rollers. Do plan to splurge, if even for a mere half bottle, as the dining experience wouldn't otherwise be complete.
