The Dartz 360 is a new LED moving head beam fixture. Compact in size, but fully loaded with features including 15 static stamped metal gobos, additive color mixing, motorized focus, variable linear frost and six & eight-facet rotatable prisms. Elation Professional sums it up by calling it a, "compact precise 360° pan/tilt moving beam luminaire."
Replacing lamps is not necessary in this fixture, as the source is a custom-built Appotronics 50-watt RGB LED engine that is patent pending. It was purposely designed for this beam luminaire. At 12 meters, the output measures 9,330 lux and at five meters, 61,300 lux. The engine comes with a life expectancy rating of 30,000 hours (average), but according to their data sheet, LED life may vary depending on several factors including environmental conditions, power/voltage, usage patterns (on-off cycling), control, and dimming.
