A Cincinnati programmer wants to change how votes are counted in Ohio and around the world, and the recent passage of an Ohio law might give him the chance.
Troy Davis, who works at Metaphor Studio and is president and founder of the Cincinnati Programmers' Guild, is part of the Open Voting Consortium. Based in Sacramento, Calif., OVC is a network of seven programmers and hundreds of global contributors who are developing open-source, free voting software on the Internet.
