Numbers, numbers, endless numbers - or so it seems on first inspection of this weighty tome. Certainly this is not your typical coffee table archiporn opus edition but the editors (Ricky Burdett, professor at the LSE, and Deyan Sudjic, director of the Design Museum) could hardly be accused of lacking ambition.
