BOULDER - A California data storage company with a research and development office in Boulder is waiting for the "appropriate time" to pursue the initial public offering it delayed in late July.
Milpitas, Calif.-based Engenio Information-Technologies Inc., formerly LSI Logic Storage Systems Inc., established a Boulder office in September 2002 through the acquisition of the Mylex business unit of IBM. The original Mylex office was established in April 1996.
In May the new company took the name Engenio and filed an application for listing with the New York Stock Exchange Inc. to trade under the ticker symbol NGE.
