Reason for starting business: We saw a niche to focus on technology marketers. Most advertising and communications agencies are not set up to do great tech work because they don't love tech - it's not their focus and they don't really get it and unless it's Microsoft or IBM, it's hard for a tech account to get a lot of focus and resources in a big agency.
Most difficult part of decision: I was at my last agency for 10 years, and it's hard to get up and leave that.
Biggest plus of ownership: We get to make all of our own mistakes.
Biggest drawback: We're utterly responsible...
