The Walking Dead distributor Entertainment One has rejected a £1bn takeover bid from ITV.
The Canadian-based, London-listed distributor said it had received an offer which valued the company at 236p per share, or £1.1bn.
In a statement to the stock exchange, the board said it "unanimously rejected it on the basis that it fundamentally undervalues the company and its prospects".
Shares in eOne rose 6% in the wake of the announcement to 232p. Talk of a bid had already elevated their value by 10% to 217.5p on...
