Paris-based software startup Esual Software SA said Wednesday it has closed a Euro 8 million ($7.2 million) third round of funding led by B-Business Partners, an Amsterdam-based venture capital firm. Previous investors Ventech, Siparex and CIC Capital Prive also participated in the round. Founded in 1999, the company raised Euro 1 million in first-round funding from TriNova, CIC and three business angels. In August 2000, Esual closed a Euro 4 million from Ventech, the venture capital arm of Paris-based Natexis Bank SA, and Paris-based venture capital firm Siparex. Paris investment bank Bryan Garnier & Co. arranged this round.
