AutoForm Engineering GmbH, a leading provider of software solutions for the die-making and sheet metal industries, has released AutoForm software version 4.1 which offers a unique solution for geometry compensation of part and tool based on springback results. AutoForm's new springback compensation feature automatically modifies part and or tooling surfaces based on precise springback calculation. Users can define local regions for compensation. AutoForm then uses springback results to automatically adjust the compensated regions. In addition, the compensated geometry is automatically used as new input for rapid and accurate tooling validation.
