EverAd, Inc.(http://www.everad.com), New York, a global provider of marketing solutions that integrate promotional and advertising messages into authorized digital content distributed over the Internet, has launched a new software and games application division - SoftHound. According to Angela Pumo, CEO of EverAd, who made the announcement, SoftHound will provide consumers with the opportunity to download entertainment as well as financial and educational software in exchange for viewing targeted promotional messages. SoftHound offers software publishers the ability to market additional products and services through its proprietary technology. EverAd's corporate strategy is focused on developing digital distribution opportunities for entertainment and other consumer-driven content categories in order to offer advertisers diverse demographic profiles and to provide copyright owners with targeted and enhanced revenue, marketing and promotional opportunities.
SoftHound allows software publishers to offer free or subsidized software applications, up-sell new products and market additional product lines to consumers through their existing distribution channels. Initially, SoftHound is offering software applications through strategic agreements with VisoSonic, Sorcerer Software, ZapSpot, Prosigner and Sunnymoon Consulting.
