David Spence of Good Space Inc. works on buildings that once heard the clatter of the Bishop Avenue Trolley: From 1904 to 1955, Bishop Arts District residents could board the No. 8 trolley headed north to downtown Dallas. Now, thanks to urban revivalists like Spence, Dallas' largest remaining intact trolley-era shopping district is bustling again. Good Space has renovated 55,000 square feet of residential and commercial space in an area that is home to an eclectic blend of artists, entrepreneurs and urbanites. He was interviewed by Cynthia D. Webb.
