For more than half his life, George Liparidis, 47, has been building and maintaining Sempra Energy's liquefied natural gas pipelines in both the North and South Americas.
President of the 2-year-old Sempra Pipelines & Storage, Liparidis has been working at San Diego-based Sempra since its creation.
"I've been here from the very start," said Liparidis, not realizing that "the start" was true both of his company and his post-collegiate life.
Liparidis, a University of Utah grad, landed a job at San Diego Gas & Electric Co. in 1980 and worked his way through several different areas of the company before the company's merger with Southern California Gas Co. and the creation of Sempra in 1998.
