Welding, cutting, joining, coating, and allied processes are the key technologies to be covered by Europe's largest welding show - the 16th Schweissen & Schneiden International Welding Fair Sept. 12-17 in Essen, Germany.
Schweissen & Schneiden is sponsored by the main German welding society, Deutscher Verband für Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren (DVS), and has run every four years since its founding in 1952.
According to DVS, joining technology will play an increasing role in all phases of production and be integrated more into the fabrication chain.
