Abstract
(CCNMatthews - July 20, 2007) - Extendicare Real Estate Investment Trust ("Extendicare REIT" or "Extendicare") (TSX:EXE.UN) regrets to announce that Richard Bertrand, Extendicare's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, passed away suddenly yesterday. His duties will be assumed on an interim basis by the senior finance team until a successor is named.
