Abstract

ANAM SEMICONDUCTOR INC. has placed a multimilliondollar order for Asyst Technologies Int.'s load-port transfer (LPT) system and mini-environment products. Asyst did not disclose the value of the deal, but it includes Asyst's standard mechanical interface (SMIF) mini-environment system, the SMIF-LPT 2200, and the single-- reticle SMIF-Pod 150mm, according to the Fremont, Calif.based company. The deal follows an earlier November 1999 Anam trial order and evaluation.
