Fiber Laser Cutting System
Amada's 9-kW LCG 3015 AJ fiber laser is designed for maximum cutting efficiency and features the company's newest AMS CL automated material-handling system. Additional modules allow the AMS CL to transition from a single-cycle loader to a multishelf tower with the ability to support multiple lasers.

Robotic Tool Change System
The MP 130 will make its US debut at FABTECH 2016. Staubli Connectors rounds off the lower end of its existing series with a tool change system for the medium payload segment. The new MPS 130 is aimed at the auto industry and other markets with its automatic gripper and toolchanger. The application of robots can be expanded with an increase in efficiency and productivity.

Clamping System
The Flexline rapid clamping system is designed to automatically clamp different-sized dies on the press side. Its modular design permits many options and is suitable for most presses and die sizes. Flexline uses motor-driven push-pull chains, which automatically move the lamp from the parking location edge of the slide to the clamping point on the die.

Precision Waterjet
The Edge X-5 is a five-axis waterjet that cuts precise taper-free parts from virtually any material. Capable of cutting sophisticated 3D parts such as impellers and bevels up to 50°, this workhorse waterjet is designed to provide years of dependable service in harsh industrial environments. Its sturdy design separates the motion system from the catcher tank, eliminating vibration and ensuring maximum part quality. The ballscrew-driven system features direct-coupled AC brushless digital servomotors, providing the best repeatability in the industry at ±0.001" (±0.0254 mm). Critical bearing components are protected with heavy metal covers with brush seals and positive air pressure.

Mobile App and Software
The new Bigfoot mobile app for iOS and Android devices and the newest version of Bigfoot CMMS will be displayed at FABTECH. The mobile app allows users to access core CMMS functionality through smartphones and tablets. The app also includes a geo-tagging capability that permits users to visually map assets, parts and work orders by location.
