GREENSBORO - A big challenge for Environmental Solutions Inc. is the coming 3 1/2 years, says President David Crowley, is whether and how the Bush administration supports the efforts of the Superfund.
"We're dealing, after all, with a president who is not known as an environmentalist," Crowley says. "He's certainly not upping the Superfund money."
But the Superfund only represents one side of the potential future problems, Crowley says. The economy in general is looking more and more like a toxic dump, and that means companies are less likely to have the funds available for dealing with environmental situations. EMS needs customers who are interested in solving their own environmental problems or heading them off before they begin.
