Federated to offer offshore fund through Fidelity

Federated Investors is gearing up to offer its offshore High Income Advantage Fund through Fidelity Investments' offshore supermarket. The firm hopes that by partnering with Fidelity, it can boost offshore sales of the fund and ferret out pockets of demand among retail investors, said Keith Nixon, national sales director. "We are trying to penetrate more deeply into the international market, and this is just an example of how we are leveraging existing relationships to gain market share abroad," said Nixon. The firm expects to start offering the fund through Fidelity next month. Nixon would not comment on sales projections.
