Fern Creek Cracker Barrel expected to open in July

July is the target month for the opening of a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store restaurant in Fern Creek.

In January, construction began on the restaurant at 10150 Brookridge Village Blvd., off Bardstown Road just east of the Gene Snyder Freeway.

"Typically it takes anywhere between 18 and 24 weeks construction," said Dawn Rutledge Jones, public relations specialist for Cracker Barrel Old Country Store Inc., based in Lebanon, Tenn. "We anticipate, if all goes as planned, to open that store July 7."
