Flying Fish + Chips by Bongiorno Hawkins + Associates, Sydney

Design Brief

The renowned predecessor Flying Fish (Jones Bay Wharf) had set the benchmark for its sister outlet Flying Fish + Chips within the new dining precinct at The Star (Sydney Casino). The intention was that the fitout would echo a subtle visual connection.

The need for functionality necessitated Bongiorno Hawkins + Associates to take a pragmatic approach to ensure an ordered space evolved where the operations of the fast-paced front and back of house areas could synchronise.
