Less than two years after construction began, Ford Motor Company celebrated the Grand Opening of the Cleveland Aluminum Casting Plant (CACP) in a small ceremony for employees and media on July 27th.
The new plant, situated on the company's 365-acre casting and engine complex in Brook Park, OH, will cast aluminum engine blocks for Ford's new 2.3-liter, in-line fourcylinder engine (14), which will be assembled at the Dearborn, MI, Engine & Fuel Tank Plant. The new...
