As a youngster growing up in Vancouver, Wash., Fulcrum Technologies CEO Brent Bauer developed a love for Orcas and early aspirations of being a marine biologist.
But by high school, the son of a fundamentalist minister was tired of being poor.
"I started reading books that were about how to make money," he says. He studied communications at Seattle Pacific University and began harnessing that drive to make money as a high-tech hardware and software salesman for Wang Labs, WRQ and Computech Systems.
