Air France has teamed up with Caribbean regional Air Guadeloupe- Air Martinique in an effort to increase market share in North America and maintain the French flag carrier's presence in the region.
The partnership will result in daily service between Miami and France's Caribbean territories, Martinique and Guadeloupe, and French Guyana in South America. The lucrative Miami-Haiti market - now dominated by U.S. carriers - will also be serviced daily. Air Guadeloupe currently has several inter-island destinations including Cayenne, Dominicana, Fort de France, Port au Prince, St. Maarten, San Juan and Santo Domingo.
